Choosing your Cats Colour and Pattern

Recognised colours of brown, snow, silver, blue and charcoal and unrecognised (for now) melanistic, cinnamon and chocolate together with sub-variations on each of these.

Bengals can have a spotted or marbled patterns, often have shimmering golden threads woven throughout and marvelous blue, green or yellow eyes.

Spotted Bengals range from single-spot, paw-print rosettes, cluster rosettes, doughnut rosettes, arrowhead rosettes and embryonic rosettes.

Preference is entirely subjective, but here at Kamanda Bengals we love the large, bold, clearly defined multicolour rosettes resulting in the wild, exotic look the Bengal breed is known and loved for – and we prize a sleek, soft and glossy pelt (Bengals have pelts, not fur) that you can run your hands through in all directions.

We focus on browns and snows. Our browns range from a darker brown to a cinnamon and our snows are usually seal mink and seal sepia. Please refer to the tab “Our Bengals” to see the exciting patterns and colours of our crew!
