Adelhills Bee Bada Boom (aka “Malkia”, meaning “Queen” in Swahili)

This Grand Champion stunning brown rosetted high contrast queen wowed the judges in South Australia and delivers the sweetest nature. A double win on looks and temperament, Malkia is genetically tested and cleared, has the most beautiful head and there is something divine about her eyes that is mysterious and hard to describe, but a thing of beauty nonetheless.
Malkia comes from an incredible bloodline, with CH Gucci Magnificent as a sire and Adelhills IMA Queen Bee as her dam. Bred by Melinda Radus of Adelhills, she was selected for our breeding programme both because she is a proven champion in the show ring and also as she carries the snow gene, so depending on the male she will throw a wonderful array of colours across the brown and snow spectrum.
Her wow factor is undeniable, her bloodlines faultless, she and her sister (who Melinda kept for her own programme, hence her willingness to allow Malkia to come to us) are both favourites in the show ring with the judges. With beautiful eyes and the sought-after wild look that we favour, she throws exotic out with every step graceful she takes.
With her incredible wins back East, we are very excited to see what her future kittens are like!
Afrikatte Sheba Shanti (aka “Sheba”, meaning “Appeasing” in Swahili)

A queen amongst queens, the jewel in our crown, we are delighted to present Sheba our cinnamon wheat brown rosetted girl who was bred by the legendary Carla Wolfaart and is the piece de resistance of her 13 year breeding programme. With champion cats all through her pedigree and three out of her four grandparents imported from Canada and Italy, she has all our favourite characteristics and is the epitome of what we think a Bengal should look like.
With a beautiful pelt, small rounded and well set ears and the highly prized and sought after “wild” look, she is a purr monster with the sweetest nature and might just be (depending on who you ask) the prettiest girl in our cattery.
Whist initially Carla (her breeder) considered keeping her as a desexed pet as she is such a wonderful girl, ultimately she decided that Sheba is too valuable a contribution to the Bengal breed, and our cattery was the beneficiary!
Sennorah Phoneix Rose (aka “Maua”, meaning “Flower” in Swahili) ~ Retired
On the day Maua arrived in our cattery from back east, this light snow Bengal stole all our hearts. Normally we would expect a settling in period, but not with this lovely girl! She was instantly playing with everyone, touching noses with our dog, inquisitive and sweet.
The first day she spent most of it running to greet everyone around her and on her back asking for tummy rubs, clearly delighting in the experience of new surroundings and people, a brave, courageous, inquisitive and loving girl.
As a rosetted seal lynx snow, she has the most amazing blue eyes and her gorgeous gently spotted coat make her a firm favourite amongst all who see her. With a pedigree including Gucci and Bundu bloodlines we are expecting amazing kittens from this girl!
Having placed well in shows back East (taking a first, best in section, first place in ring three, first place in ring four, and fourth out of ten in the top ten), we are excited to welcome her kittens and see how Maua’s beautiful traits come through.
Bengali Nzuri (aka “Nzuri”, meaning “Lovely” in Swahili)
Our first queen, we chose Nzuri as her spayed half-sister was our first Bengal cat, a cat we loved so much we felt obliged to carry on the bloodline. At the time we acquired Nzuri, our focus was on simply having a half sister to our desexed female, little did we know she has fantastic bloodlines including the Gucci line, whilst a beauty it is her gentle loving and mothering nature that stands out, she mothers the other female cats (whether they want it or not) and if a queen is looking nervous or unhappy at all, then Nzuri will spend time with her to quieten her down.
